This pilot covers the most remote areas of the west coast of Scotland between Ardnamurchan Point and Cape Wrath and the Island of Skye. Martin Lawrence has completely revised the text and for this edition has added new photographs taken from both the air and sea. The use of full colour throughout the work brings a clarity to the photographs and harbour plans. New photographs have been added to support changes to the text and plans in this 3rd edition. Martin Lawrence has spent many years sailing on the West Coast of Scotland and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation. He is well known as the author of the Yachtsman's Pilot series. "An excellent example of how text, charts and photos can be made to work together to enhance the information available to the navigator. It is also further evidence that this publisher is far ahead of its rivals in presentation of information for the yachtsman". - CT, Yachting Monthly "Yachtsman's Pilot to Skye and NW Scotland is a revelation in clarity. The layout is excellent with line drawings and chartlets on the same page and often with a photograph making it useful to have on deck when eyeballing. This book is an essential item on any boat ruising north of Ardnamurchan Point". - Cruising Association Bulletin

This text represents papers written by contributors to the workshop and pre-circulated papers which describe health systems and educational realities in six countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the UK. The first part of the books compares the structure care systems and General Practice education in the UK and Nordic countries. The second part reviews teaching under five headings, each introduced by a brief commmentary highlighting the main issues and indicating the consensus view. Of particular note is the last chapter which presents demography and health service organization, arrangements for General Practice and primary health care, vocational (specialists) training of GPs, and continuing medical education for each of the six countries.
When the first edition of Pediatric Psychopharmacology published in 2002, it filled a void in child and adolescent psychiatry and quickly establishing itself as the definitive text-reference in pediatric psychopharmacology. While numerous short, clinically focused paperbacks have been published since then, no competitors with the scholarly breadth, depth, and luster of this volume have emerged. In the second edition, Christopher Kratochvil, MD, a highly respected expert in pediatric psychopharmacology, joins the outstanding editorial team led by Dr. Martin and Dr. Scahill. In the new edition, the editors streamline the flow of information to reflect the growth in scientific data since the first edition appeared. The overall structure of the book remains the same, with major sections on underlying biology; somatic interventions; assessment and treatment; and special considerations.
